Cyclopath Jersey Redesign

Hey gang! It's been seven years since we designed and ordered our fabulous Blue & Greenie jersey. I'm feeling that seven-year-itch. New riders have come on board, (more women!), and we don't have many size/style options from our surplus. It's time for a fresh update! (No, no... not a total overhaul of the jersey, but an updated version to compliment the one we have.) Let me know what you think... Tam

Hincapie has been in touch if we want to reorder the jersey as is. Or, I would recommend going with Pactimo. I have several items of theirs -- a jersey, arm warmers, cycling jacket, base layer, and a headband -- that I really like. I have shorts too, though I haven't ridden in them yet. The chamois is a little stiff, but that could be because I haven't worn them yet. I was lead to Pactimo when I joined Team Water.org and had a coupon, and I really like them.

They will set up a Team Store for us -- an online webpage with the items we choose in our design -- so that everyone can order directly from them with a credit card. You won't have to go through me. We'd keep the online store open for a set period of time, like 2-3 weeks, close the store and then place the order. The production time is 5 weeks. Jerseys (short sleeve or sleeveless) will run about $65. Long sleeve or jackets will be a little more. I have the pricelist if you are interested.

They will also send out a fit kit with samples if people want to try on a size before ordering. I could arrange that.

Thoughts??

VERY EXCITING!
Are YOU sure you want to go thru with this?

Well... now that you mention it.... ;-)

Actually, I think it will be good to have another jersey. I'm a little weary of the same-old, same-old but... and mine has had a grease stain on it since 2010 that just won't come out. (Plus, I find that fabric is waaaay too hot in the summer! How about you?) I know Arlene has mentioned an interest in sleeveless jerseys, and there isn't a minimum on type of jersey, so if she wants sleeveless while everyone has traditional short sleeves, that won't make a difference.

I think I'd keep the overall look and colors, so that the two jerseys work well together, but maybe add a little more variation to it, or shading. A little less white. :)
