But What Happens When it Rains?

Donna came across this nifty little article and wanted to share: "cardboard-bicycle-could-change-the-world". Donna writes, "I thought this would be fun to post on the blog. And immediately thought of Sam when I read about the ~ $20 price tag!" (Apparently, it's waterproof!)

Did anyone ride on Saturday in the drizzle and fog?

Congrats to Ethan for organizing a group ride on Sunday in place of last weekend's rained-out Sea Glass Ride. We hope you had a good group of riders!

A secret concoction!
How did he do it? As Reuters says, "once the shape has been formed and cut, the cardboard is treated with a secret concoction made of organic materials to give it its waterproof and fireproof qualities. In the final stage, it is coated with lacquer paint for appearance."
