Memorial Day Weekend Ride

Happy Memorial Day weekend! We had a fabulous day for a ride with 14 Cyclopaths on hand to wish Carl "Happy roads ahead" on his last day riding with the Cyclopaths. Riding to Manchester on this gorgeous day were Ducky, Sheldon, Paul, Joan, Drew, Lisa, Arlene, Steve-Bob, The Queen, Lucy, Jack, and Tam, with Donna driving the SAG wagon.

After breakfast at the Beach Street Cafe, all looped up to Singing Beach for a very shaky rendition of 'God Bless America'. Who knew we'd need a song sheet for the lyrics?! (Typical.) The ride continued on with the majority of the pack heading out to Essex while a few headed back to Salem. Two route options were on the table, with seven heading down Route 22 for a 30 mile RT, and five heading down 133 for even more miles. It was a terrific day and a great ride. Summer is here!

God Bless America,
Land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America, My home sweet home
