St. Patrick's Day Shamrock Ride 2012

The early-season riders hit the roads today in anticipation of the coming Spring. The temps were on the cool side, but not uncomfortable, as Lynda, Margie, Sheldon and Tam officially kicked off the season with a Shamrock Ride to the Beverly Airport cafe! (Which was surprisingly not serving anything corned-beef related on the 'specials' board.) After breakfast, Lynda and Margie ventured on for more miles towards Bradley Palmer, while Sheldon and Tam returned to Salem. It was nice morning and great to be back on the roads again after the winter break! Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!

Next week: We're sticking with the later departure through March, departing at 8 a.m from the Salem start.

Yah, we kind of went the opposite direction than what we should have, and went right by the turn for Haverhill Rd in Boxford to get to Ipswich Rd to go in the direction of the park! So Instead, we continued and a larger arc around the whole forest and into Ipswich Center and around to Hamilton and Wenham.

Egg on me!

Margie is writing the official ride report.
