This week marks the 5th Anniversary of the North Shore Cyclopaths blog. Back in 2005, the blogosphere was still very new, and not many people had even heard of blogs. We are so cutting edge!

Our first Cyclopaths Ride Report was posted July 4th, 2005. Since then, we have written over 715 entries and posted more than 600 photos! (We also acquired a .com address to make it easier to remember the web address.) Five years has been a nice run. --Tam

I messed up on getting my thoughts published so allow me to continue. I check the blog daily to learn the latest on cycling in pictures and words told very interestingly. Every morn, I look for the weather report out of Salem. The Cyclopaths are very lucky to boast about a top-notch blog master in the person of Tam. If the info is worth knowing it's on our blog. It is my sincere hope that the blog will grow from strength to strength and age as we age. The blog's first 5 years have been a blast, and it's my fond hope it will continue under Tam's keyboard for many years to come. Cheers to the Grand Marshall of Blogging, Tam Cronin! Appreciatively, Sheldon

Thank you Sheldon, for such a nice commentary on the blog! It means so much to me to know that you read it and enjoy it.

Thank you also, Bruce and Lynda, for your kind words. I was told that no one reads the blog and was questioning why I even bother, since no one reads it. I had planned to send it off on hiatus this week -- ending it's 5 year run -- but have been convinced otherwise. (Thank you, Laurie and Av, Drew and Donna too!)

PS I check the weather report out of Salem too! Nice to see the temps in the 60s this morning!
