Great Brewers Gran Prix of Gloucester

The Great Brewers Gran Prix of Gloucester, a large cyclocross event at Gloucester's Stage Fort Park, will be held on Saturday, October 3rd, and Sunday, October 4th. 500 riders are registered for each day with fields as large as 125 racers in some categories.

For more info on this world-class event, visit their website at www.gpgloucester.com. Sounds like fun! (Bruce, are you riding this?)

I am.

Masters 55+ race both days.

Hopefully this year I will stay upright (Saturday fall) and grounded (Sunday over the handlebars!).

It's WAY more fun that way.

This is a world class event with riders attending from Belgium, Spain, and The Netherlands so far.

Registration is currently at almost 960 riders between the 2 days and should continue to grow.

There are 9 different brewers scheduled to be showing off their wares in the beer garden this year and many vendors scheduled to be along the expo.

There were some really good deals on cycling clothing from Craft last year as well as sales from several local shops.

If you come to spectate, you will not be disappointed. The event is a blast!
