Congrats Margie!

Congratulations to Margie on her new wheels! It's great to see Margie has retired that old boat anchor of a bike she was so fond of riding! It may take a little while to get used to the new riding position, but we know she'll get the hang of it soon and will be riding like a pro. (Wow. Margie has come a long way. Last year she bought a water bottle... this year, a real bike! Now we just need to get her to buy some riding shorts! Baby steps.)

I believe she paid Mark Bavineau a visit over at Centraal Cycle in Beverly to pick up that new steed (I know someone from the Cyclopaths did!).

She looked pretty happy on it when I saw her in Ipswich.

Congrats Margie! Enjoy the new ride.

My bike thanks you and I thanks you! Aside from a stiff neck and confusing the brakes with the gear shifts a few times, the switch to riding a road bike has been pretty easy. Clifford, whom you unceremoniously dismissed as an old boat anchor, is sulking in the garage. Next buy... a bicycle pump!

Next purchase: May I suggest Real Bike shorts!!!!!!!
Because:
Comfort, support and moisture management is important!
•Anatomic panel design features antimicrobial ions to eliminate bacteria and provide thermal regulation.
•Seamless chamois with dual density padding relieves pressure on sensitive nerves and absorbs shock.
•Low profile, flat lock seams eliminate chafing.
•Reflective logos add visibility.
•Comfy spandex or silicone leg grippers ensure a perfect fit.

These are just a few of the highlights of a good bike short…..

Take the next leap and much like the new bike, you will never look back! Sorry Clifford your day in the sun while fun is done! Now you are Specialized ;)
