Excerpts from The Wheel Paper

New from the archives (courtesy of Sheldon), is the complete collection of The Wheel Paper -- Outrageous, Courageous Commentary on North Shore Bicycling, published from 1994 to 1999 by the Phufnick Brothers. (AKA Barry Carver and Jon Peck?). With 2 months to go before riding season resumes, I will post excerpts from the paper periodically. My apologies in advance for any offense. ;-)

Is this for real??

C'mon. Would I make this stuff up?

*scratches her head*

If it is in print, then it must be true! ;-)

Believe it or not it is real! Mostly Jon Peck's creation. He was a Cyclopath for many years. I think Barry just went along for the ride....

P.S.
Jon Peck and politically correct were never synonymous. Information written did NOT and does NOT reflect the opinion of other Cyclopaths.

I will pick and choose and not post anything inappropriate -- and if ANYONE has a problem with any of the posts, of course I will delete them!!! It seems to be written tongue-in-cheek. But Donna, I don't have to post ANY of it, of course. What do you think? I liked some of the post-PMC notes and the Donna Cohen Classic. Your thoughts?? Easy to delete all NOW if you say the word.

It is fine to post. It was all written tongue in cheek.

Happy Birthday to Cyclopath-Brenda (Feb 12th) and Cyclopath-Av (Feb 13th).

The Wheel paper was certainly more correct than the NY Times. And, please do post it periodically. Wish I'd kept my copies. Probably worth a lot of $ today!
By the way, where is Jonathon these days?

Post away with some excerpts. I'd like to see them.
