Another Bike in the Family

Our monthly email updates on the building of Lynda's new rando bike have come to an end as "Anita" has finally arrived! (It's a beauty!) From the finished result we can see that Lynda went with the Quad Cycles green bar tape. (Wait! There wasn't a Cyclopath green available?) Congrats to L on her new ride!

Great looking touring/rando rig.

Have a safe and productive season.

It's more than most of us would even THINK of trying.

You go girl !!

Hey thanks for the post!

The tape is also Cyclopath greenie, and the blue is our color as well!

Mike K - will you perform Anita's baptism in the spring? Please say that you will! ;)

even though she is home now, I still need to outfit her with headlight, taillight and rack/pack. But she runs, and that's all that I need until late May, when the 300k comes around.

Can't wait until we're all able to ride again! xoxo! -Lynda

Rabbi Shelly and Minister Gail could also participate in a nondenominational baptism/blessing/naming/bris/prayer service........

Yes yes and yes! Well, no to the bris... she doesn't have one of those! :-o

The kids are behaving themselves, Frankie being the proud big brother, Helga the proud big sis, and Gabby is the middle child, she'll need some time to adjust. hee...

Seriously, this is going to be a fun year of biking, and I can't wait!

Anita had her maiden voyage today. The Quaddies went out to Harvard from the shop. So we had our first 70-miler of the season, and our fill of hills, that's for sure!

It is a very different experience on the Soma compared to the Scott. Most of the difference is in the gearing, and also in the weight differences. The Scott is much more efficient, but the Soma had such a great ride quality! Man, is that bike smooooooth!

70 miles in February! I can't even fathom that right now. I have had a cold and sinus congestion for 2 weeks now -- the kids are struggling with it too -- my head feels like it's going to explode. Happy to hear you had a great ride and were able to avoid all of the junk on the roads. The Soma sure looks pretty!
