PMC 2009 - Bourne or Bust

Economy be damned! We're not going to let a stinking recession slow us down! Registration for the 30th Pan Mass Challenge opens in a few weeks! Our goal is to have 30 Cyclopaths, family members, and friends ride or volunteer this year. Join our team and let Captain Drew know you're plans! Pick a route and party with us in Bourne!

Planning to ride Saturday, Wellesley to Bourne -- with the possibility of riding the second day as well. I'll decide when I hear everyone else's plan -- but count me in on Saturday for sure. Mike is also volunteering in Bourne again.

Go PMC!!

As it stands right now, I'm going to do Sturbridge to PTown (with an extra 91 miles that Friday of registration, from the NY border to registration check-in. Now, if we can get a healthy bunch o' Blue and Greenies to start in Wellesley, I can be swayed to start in Wellesley, leaving as one big team from there.

I'm afraid that unless something significant comes along, I'll be back in Colorado for a second go at The Copper Triangle.

I'll be thinking of you all.

One of these days I'll skip the Saturday morning trainer session and join you guys at a breakfast.

Happy Holidays and a healthy New Year to all.

sorry i was not around on New years day - ann & I took the opportunity with Jill and Michael at home with us to go to Portland Maine for New Years - VERY COLD but a nice break - I truly missed seeing my friends - count me in for PMC 30 - we should dedicate it to Manny - we need an interesting team name -"MEN for Manny?" sorry what was i thinking - but i sounded so nice?/ riding will be tough for me as school takes priority this summer so i have lined up surprise volunteer efforts on the route - so i will see ya on the road!! just think of Manny and what the PMC means to those who suffer with Cancer and don't let that Billy guy enter that thought!! Someone needs to volunteer to serve the beans or whatever Manny did at Bourne - it is only the right thing to do!!
peace and a healthy new year to my friends

Michael

PS i believe that Manny does not check the blog so mail him a thoughtful card - I will
