September Calendar

Several items of note for the weekend of September 20th & 21st. The GSW is running their annual Seacoast Century along the same route as the Tri-State Cohen Classic. This has been a favorite century ride for many Cyclopaths. Anyone planning to ride this year? Visit the Granite State Wheelmen website for more info!

Also happening that weekend, Sunday, September 21st, The City of Boston hosts its annual Hub on Wheels -- a citywide bike ride and festival benefiting the Boston Digital Bridge Foundation (bringing technology to Boston Public Schools).

Another terrific ride benefiting local children is the Rodman Ride for Kids on September 27th -- raising funds for child-related social service agencies in Massachusetts. Drew is participating in this year's ride. If you would like to join her or volunteer, drop her an email!

And finally, for a non-biking event, don't forget to mark your calendar for Drew's Annual Myopia Polo Tailgating Party the afternoon of September 21st (following the Hub on Wheels ride). The tailgate kick-off begins at 1:30, Polo at 3. This is always a fun event. Details to follow!

If you want to do the Seacoast you need to register FAST. They are almost full and rigidly limit their rise count.

Hub on Wheels is a blast and I will be going back to do the 50 miler with a bunch of guys from the Serotta Forum and the 4C's.

It will be tough to do the 50 and get to Hamilton in time for Drew's fantastic tailgate but you should be able to get there in time for the polo. Or, you could do one of the shorter routes.

That would be "rider count" not "rise count".
