Eighteen Riders, 4 Breakfast Stops

With only 18 riders on Saturday, it's comical to hear there were 4 breakfast stops, (contrary to the typical one or two). The Hamilton Group, with Sam and Bill Cantor, enjoyed breakfast at Henderson's with Carl, Margie and Sue R. (plus Barbara and Tam) -- Meanwhile, Paul and Joan missed the breakfast cue and stopped for breakfast at The Depot Diner.

On the other side of the tracks, Mojito Dave, and the speedsters (including Lynda, Ethan, Arlene, Drew, Lisa, Ellen, CCMike, Ducky, Paul, and Donna) headed up to Ipswich and the beach. Upon returning to Stone Soup, they learned the wait was long, so headed to Zumi's for a quick bite to eat. Meanwhile, Ducky and Paul G. stuck out the wait at Stone Soup, where El, CCM and Donna returned later for a great breakfast. 18 riders, 4 breakfast stops. A record!

Very funny about 4 breakfast stops. The other Ipswich place was called Zumis.

Zumi's had zero protien and had even run out of bagels! (the horror!)I can no longer eat that stuff (muffins, danish and even bagels)! Ellen and I had gotten up at 3:30 for the trek and WE where Hungery! The Stone Soup did not disappoint and was awesome as usual! Tam did you get your rim fixed ???? If it is cracked and not repairable let me know!

Hi "Protein is your friend" CCM -- Yes, I got my spoke fixed! I was just griping to Donna about it this morning. Mhead Cycle fixed it on Saturday -- cost 3.99 for the part, $25 for the labor. Ouch! The most painful part was after I PAID for it, Chris/Owner announces, "You have more corroded spoke nipples on there. They could snap at any moment." Um Duh. WHY didn't he fix them while he had the wheel and I was already paying $25 for labor??!! Grrrrrr....
