Sunday Notes

Cohen Classic:Wow! Only five days to go before the PMC! The summer really has flown by quickly. Donna will post a detailed recap of the Cohen Classic on the blog shortly (maybe even today.) It was a brutally hot day, and three cheers go out to all who rode (18 riders!) in the oppressive heat. (Photo left: Donna and Sheldon arrive in Portsmouth!)

Another Cyclopath down: Sending best wishes to Bruce, who had a nasty accident in Maine. (the second Cyclopath injury requiring 911 assistance in 2 weeks.) Hopefully Bruce will rebound for next week's PMC. Heal quickly Bruce!

Photographer?: Thanks to the folks who came to breakfast, or met at the statue, for the newspaper photographer on Sunday. I have no clue why the photographer didn't show up -- but appreciated that you did.

Pre-PMC Revere Revelry Party: Looking forward to Thursday's pre-PMC pizza and pasta dinner, graciously hosted by the Kelleher's. (Please RSVP to Michael, ( e-mail or call 781.289.8566), if you haven't done so already!) Anne, Michael, Christa and Mike Jr. really go all out for this event. Many thanks to the Kelleher family for hosting our crazy group!

It's hot out there.... hope everyone has a good week leading up to Saturday's event. Can't wait to read the recap of the Cohen Classic! -- Tammy

the cohen classic lived up to its title - a great event but HOT - every year i say that i will avoid Hampton Beach and every year i ride thru hampton on the return trip and it is always in the 90's with tons of traffic - both vehicles and pedestrians - and this year was the BEST!! but we survived and are ready for the PMC - BRING IT ON! the weather will be HOT on wednesday but will be terrific by the weekend -have asafe and great ride
