Hello from Mt Wachusett!

Lynda sent this photo from last Sunday's Climb to the Clouds. (Read her report, left in the "comments" section, below.) Sounds like a grueling climb -- but fun to hear she met up with C2C veterans Lisa and Brian during the ride!

There was a large contingent of Cyclopaths at last Saturday's Red Sox game, including Jeff (and Harriet), Sheldon (and Fran), Brenda (and Matt), Donna (and her "little sister" Gabby), Little Dave (and his daughter), Drew (and her nieces), Lynda, Ed... (Who else? There's more, I'm sure...) Way to go... the Cyclopath mojo clearly ended the Sox' 3-game losing streak!

Hey all!

The 105-mile Climb To The Clouds was a success! What a ride! The whole ride, from Concord, MA to Mt. Wachusett in Sterling was HILLS. It was a great training tool, was more difficult than the Pan Mass Challenge will ever be, so yes, I can now say that I am prepared to do "The Ride" in August!

Tam and Donna: I did finally meet up briefly with Lisa H and Brian at a general store along the way, rode with them as much as I could, but my hybrid is no match for the wonders of carbon fiber! So I saw them again at the mountain. Can't wait to get the new bike to flatten them hills!!

Here's a pic of me at 3/4 of the way up, just because the view was so much better at that spot! It was pretty hazy up at the summit. Only one crash (pretty serious, descending the Mountain) and a cell phone casualty more towards the beginning, when we had a peloton going. Boy did that phone get tromped on! I wonder if anyone was on the other line, what they must've been thinking...
