Boston Bike Film Fest Oct. 21 & 22

Anyone Interested??? Website: http://www.bostonbikefilmfest.org/

Spokes & Reels
Welcome to the First Annual Boston Bike Film Festival. We are happy to be showcasing some of the best in cycling-related films in Boston, Brookline and Cambridge. Come to one or both nights. As an adjunct to the Hub On Wheels non-profit, all proceeds from the festival will benefit bicycle advocacy programs in the greater Boston area such as MassBike.

The Boston Bike Film Festival is unique in that it gives not only filmmakers, but cyclists, a chance to express themselves through film and give them exposure to a diverse audience. With thousands expected to attend the festival, BBFF is a great forum for the independent filmmaker and the chance to network with other filmmakers and cyclists.

Boston Bike Film Festival
We will be showing films from filmmakers across the country, including short films, feature length and animated films.

We also have numerous volunteer opportunities. For information about volunteering for this event, please contact: info@bostonbikefilmfest.org.

Each night of the festival, we'll have Q & A with several of the finalists who have films in competition. There will be delicious hors d'oeuvres provided by local caterers prior to the films being shown and you'll have plenty of time before and after screenings to see the silent auction items. There will also be beer and wine (cash bar) at these events.

Silent Auction Items include:

  • Harvest Co-op gift certificates
  • Movie passes to the Coolidge Corner Theatre
  • Gift Subscriptions to the Ride Magazine
  • Gift Certificates to Planet Bike
  • Passes to the Harvard Film Archive
  • Bike Jerseys from Ciclismo Classico
  • and many more to come!
